Installation:
Triguard Car Cover Installation Process:
For proper installation, place the Triguard Car Cover over your vehicle first and then unfold it slowly. If your vehicle cover is fitted with mirror pockets, install the mirror pockets before installing the car cover over the front and rear ends of your vehicle. Proper installation of the mirror pockets keeps your Triguard Car Cover fixed to its position in stormy weather conditions without letting the car cover to fall off. Now, after installing the mirror pockets, you can move ahead to install the Triguard Car Cover over the front and rear end of your vehicle.
Specific Measures To Be Adopted Before And During Installation:
Before installing the Triguard Car Cover, you are especially required to ensure that the body of your car is adequately clean and dust free. If your car body is dust ridden, you are at risk of attracting dust particles to your Triguard Car Cover and once dust and dirt particles are stuck to your car cover, it is likely to unleash fabric damage to your car cover. So, clean the body of your car properly before installing the Triguard Car Cover over it. Altogether, you should ensure not to install the Triguard Car Cover over a wet vehicle.
While installing the Triguard Car Cover, it is necessary for you to keep your car cover away from the exhaust tips if they are too sharp-edged or hot. Once coming in touch with hot/sharp edged vehicle tips, your car cover is likely to melt instantly.
You are also required to induce a small opening in your car cover to install it properly over the antenna positioned on your car. If there is no such antenna over your car, you are not required to cut a portion of your car cover. However, to install the Triguard Car Cover successfully over the antenna, you are required to follow a few steps. First of all, remove the car cover and fix the antenna at the usual position, Thereafter, select the point where the base of the antenna meets the car and cut a small opening in your Triguard Car Cover at this point. After this, you are required to install the antenna and then position the car cover over the antenna patches.
Triguard Car Cover Lock Kit Installation:
If you have a car cover lock kit, you should install it properly to prevent theft of your car cover. Your Triguard Car Cover lock kit has a small vinyl coated cable and this cable is further equipped with a metal piece on one end and a loop on the other end.
For the installation of your Triguard Car Cover lock kit, first of all, move ahead to the passenger’s side and fix the loop at around two inches through the grommet. After that, push the metal piece, the other end of the cable to the driver’s side by first taking it along under the grommet via the loop of the first cable. Now, reaching for the driver’s side, pull the cable along from outside the cover by two inches through the grommet and then you can easily lock the end pieces of the cable.
Cleaning:
You can cleanse the Triguard Car Cover by using your hands as well as through machine use and also, you can place the Triguard Car Cover over your vehicle, bring out the inner cover and cleanse it thoroughly by spraying water with the help of a hose. The hand cleaning procedure is generally used for car covers that are not significantly dirty. However, for machine cleaning, you can use M/Cs available in most of the commercial laundries. These are automatic speed control washers that you can use to clean your Triguard Car Cover and also keep in mind that you should use only large M/Cs as in small M/Cs, the washing space is also significantly small. Bear in mind that you are not recommended to use agitators in the cleaning process as the use of agitators can tear or rip off your Triguard Car Cover.
